If you haven’t heard of the Gili Islands,it consists of three small islands northwest of Lombok,Indonesia. The names of the islands are Gili Trawangan,Gili Air,and Gili Meno. Of the three islands,Gili Trawangan is a favorite for tourists. It is also the largest of the three islands.
Scuba Diving is very easy if you feel comfortable in the water and listen to the instructions your instructor gives you. Fun diving is not a safe activity to do without preparation. You must have adequate equipment and skills to stay safe underwater.
Important:Before doing your activities,you are required to fill out a health form as a condition!
Prerequisites
- Minimum age 10 years
- Can swim
- Medical clearance for pre-existing conditions
- There are some rules when flying too high altitudes after diving. You must wait for a minimum of 12 to 18 hours after your last dive before your flight.

1. Scuba Equipment Introduction
The instructor will explain the equipment that must be used by divers:
- Tank
- BCD
- Regulator
- Mask
- Boots
- Fins
- Wetsuit
2. Exercise in The Pool
Instructors will teach basic skills and breathing techniques to ensure you are comfortable with the equipment such as:
- Giant Stride Technique –enter the water in a way like stepping on the water
- Regulator Clearing –take your regulator out of your mouth and put it back in
- Alternate Air Source Use –share the air source with your dive buddies in case of an emergency
- Mask Clearing –clear the mask when water enters
3. Go to the sea
It’s the moment we’ve been waiting for,looks like we’re fit for our real adventure dive. Travel to the sea by boat,while on the boat the instructor will give a brief briefing about the dive sites and what to do in the water. The instructor will demonstrate the back-roll entry technique for going into the water and how to get out of the water. You will dive with a maximum depth of 12 meters and will always be supervised by your instructor. The dive site that is frequently visited is called Turtle Heaven. Turtle Heaven is a very beautiful dive site where you can see many kinds of fish,some big green turtles,and the variety of beautiful corals. The most important thing is you can’t touch anything,just enjoy the underwater view and drift with the current.
